The dream of every student is to have a friend who truly understands him and stands by him like a true companion.
A best friend can bring out the best in you and light up the inner hidden talent in you. Friends are gift to us from God. Each friend can open a door of possibilities for you.
Let us now look into three the most important aspect of the friendship.
➤ Sympathize and stretch your hands.
➤ A friend can expose your drawbacks.
➤ Share your joys and sorrows.
⇛ Sympathize and stretch your hands:-
The friends you chose should understand you well and encourage you to lead you forward courageously. He should have decisiveness, conviction and concern for you. You should in turn extend all these attributes to your friends. You should step out of the ugly feature of selfishness and indifference and readily extend your hands to develop friendship. If you sit in one corner and expect everybody come to you and shake hands, you can never make any friend. On the other hand, the person who readily moves forward and help others can make many friends.

While Buffett's uniqueness lies in his humble attitude and humour despite billions in wealth, Bill Gates, uniqueness lies in making information technology available at a relatively lower price.
When Warren and Bill Gates met for the first time, the meeting was scheduled only for thirty minutes by Bill Gates who thought they had nothing in common to share with each other. But the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a good friend of Warren Buffett. Warren Buffett was much impressed by the efforts of Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates for social concerns. Warren Buffet's philanthropic donations reached new heights in 2006, when he donated $31 billion to 'The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.'
⇛ A friend can point out your drawbacks which you don't want to see yourself-
A true friend is not a sycophant. The friends who flatter you are dangerous for you and cause your downfall by developing a false ego in you. At the same time the friends who will treat you and unduly criticize you will cause harm by destroying your self-confidence A true friend sincerely brings the drawbacks to your notice and urges you to overcome them so that you can progress and his guidance is based on his conviction, courage and strength. You should develop friendship with such people as well as introduce them to your friends.

It left the goats and caught hold of the grass eating tiger which began to bleat and tired to run away, but the fierce tiger dragged it to the lake and said," Now look at your face in the water. You see, you have the pot face of a tiger. it is exactly like mine." Nest it pushed a piece of meat into its mouth. At first the grass eating tiger refused to eat the meat. Then it got the taste of the meat and realized it. At last the fierce tiger said to the grass eating tiger," What a disgrace! You lived with the goats and ate grass like them!" The grass eating tiger was really ashamed of it and went away to forest along with the fierce tiger and lived like a real tiger.
